Meetings 2004-05

November Meeting - The Story of Cork's English Market
Diarmuid O'Drisceoil co-author, with his brother Donal of "Serving A City", will speak on the fascinating history of this great exporting city and it's hinterland. Afterwards celebrate with wine and market foods.

Crawford Art Gallery Cafe on thursday November 24th at 7.30pm. Admission 12 euro.

October Meeting - Fun Food for Children
Suggestions from Rachel Allen on how to prepare and cook fun and nutritious food for your children.

Thursday October 27th, Crawford Art Gallery Cafe at 7.30 - 6 euro including tea/coffee and tastings.

September Meeting - Winter Vegetable Gardening
Make the most of your polytunnel or glasshouse. How to harvest, store your crops, rest your garden and save your seeds.

April Meeting - About our Water
Speakers are Clodagh Mahoney M.EngSc.M.I.E.I
Associate of Fehily Timoney & Co., Environmental Consultants on Keeping water safe from chemical and bacterial pollutants, supplies in the future, hard water, soft water and water filters. Our other speaker is Eoin McGuirk on the Medicinal Properties of Water.

On Thursday April 28th at 7.30pm in the Crawford Gallery Cafe, Admission 5.00, including tea and coffee.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, this month's meeting has been cancelled. April's meeting will take place as scheduled.
